Take a journey through the grandeur of Rajasthan’s famed royal cities, along with the tranquility of its lesser-known desert villages and restored noble estates. This itinerary covers Phalodi – ‘The Salt City‘, romantic Udaipur as well as the Rural Triangle – Narlai, Rohet and Manvar.

Early breakfast in hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Jodhpur.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch in a local restaurant in Jodphur and continue towards Phalodi also known as "Salt City" for its salt industry. Visit a salt lake enroute before checking in to your hotel.
Later in the afternoon, explore the surrounding Khichan Village, see historical havelies and local family houses. Head to the nearby lake known for its photogenic sunset, before returning to your resort for dinner.

Early this morning, depart for the Demoiselle Cranes Feeding House (Chugga Ghar) to watch the morning feeding of these migratory birds. This feeding activity supported by the community donations of grains, has become a major cultural tradition. Return to hotel for breakfast, and set off for Manvar.
Enjoy lunch upon arrival at Manvar Sevan Desert Camp, and proceed for a Jeep Safari through the heart of Rajasthan's Thar Desert. Cross golden sand dunes and remote desert trails, where you might encounter native wildlife like chinkaras and desert foxes. Along the way, experience a Camel Ride to leisurely enjoy the scenic desert landscape.

After breakfast, set off to Rohet, a town on the edge of the Thar Desert.
Visit the Mehrangarh Fort, standing at four hundred feet at splendour on a perpendicular cliff. Be awed by its massive scale, intricate palaces and monumental gates. Next, visit Jaswant Thada, a royal mausoleum from the 19th century. This white marbled structure is a classic example of Rajputana architecture which brilliantly assimilates Hindu and Mughal styles.
After lunch, visit The Village Safari in Rohet, where you will be able to experience life in the villages and interact with the local folk.

Depart for Narlai after breakfast today - Narlai is a hidden gem of a town tucked away in the Aravalli Hills of Rajasthan, exuding rural idyll surrounded by rocky outcrops and unchartered wilderness.
Go on a Leopard Sighting experience (via shared jeep) - the rugged countryside here is an ideal site for leopards - and end off with some tea and snacks.
Return to your hotel and proceed for a Stepwell Dinner - enjoy your meal in the midst of hundreds of dimly lit oil lamps that illuminate the 1100 year old stepwell, promising an unmatched magical experience.

Start the day with a Sunrise Breakfast with Wildlife, set up between the Aravalli Hills with freshly-baked muffins, homemade short breads and sandwiches as well as plunged coffee and teas.
Drive to Udaipur and visit the City Palace, home to the erstwhile royal family of Mewar. Stop by the nearby 16th century Jagdish Chowk temple, famous for the exquisite carvings on its outer walls. Set off on an exclusive boat ride on Lake Pichola, ending at the floating palace Jag Mandir.
Overnight in Udaipur.

Check out after breakfast and transfer to either Delhi or Ahmedabad airport for your onward flight.
- For trip ending in Ahmedabad: Land transfer to Ahmedabad [approximately 5hrs // 256km], and last-minute shopping at the local markets (if time permits) before transferring to the airport for your flight.
- For trip ending in Delhi: Take a domestic flight to Delhi and proceed for last-minute shopping (if time permits) before transferring to the airport in good time for your flight.

- Safari visits require passport details to be booked, and cannot be changed thereafter. In case of passport renewal after booking has been made, you will need to bring along your old passport for verification as well.
- The Indian government prohibits smoking in hotels, restaurants and public areas. Please inform us should you prefer a smoking room (subject to availability).
- Since November 2019, the Indian government has banned e-cigarettes and cannot be purchased or brought into the country. Please ensure that they are not packed in your luggage.

A: The best time to visit Rajasthan, India is from October to March, for pleasant weather that is ideal for sightseeing and outdoor activities. The months of November and February are particularly good as they fall within the comfortable winter period. We do not recommend this itinerary during the summer months of April to September, as temperatures get very high, particularly in desert regions such as Phalodi and Manvar.
A. Absolutely! Feel free to let us know if you’d like to extend your trip to another city before/after the base itinerary, or if there’s any place or activity that you’d like to include or omit – customised tours are what we specialise in.
A: No, our land-tour package rates do not include flights, to also allow our customers to customise their trip based on choice of airline, travel dates and flight routing, etc. For this itinerary, it is possible to start and end the tour either in New Delhi or Ahmedabad, both of which offer direct flights to/from Singapore.
