Early breakfast in hotel and transfer to the airport for your flight to Leh [Recommended flight: Indigo 6E 2583 // 0915hrs-1040hrs].
Transfer to your hotel in Leh upon arrival. At over 3,500m in altitude, Leh, the capital of Ladakh was once a stop on the ancient Silk Road. Spend the rest of the day at leisure to rest and acclimatise yourself to the high altitude. Lunch at own leisure.
In the evening, explore Leh's lively local market lined with stores selling items from handwoven pashmina to Tibetan antiques, as well as cafes servings local teas.

After breakfast, start with a visit to Leh Palace, a 17th century royal home of the Namgyal kings and now a museum. Next, head to the Shanti Stupa where you can get sweeping views of the Indus Valley, followed by the Shey Monastery, which was once the summer capital of Ladakh.
Lunch on own at a local restaurant, and continue to the Thiksey Monastery, a striking 12-storey complex resembling Tibet's Potala Palace. Return to hotel and evening at leisure.

Breakfast in hotel and depart for a day excursion to Alchi, a village along the serene banks of the Indus River, known for its traditional mud-brick houses and rustic charm. Enroute visit the Lamayuru Monastery, which was the main contender against the Sakya Monastery for supremacy throughout Tibet back in the 13th century.
Upon arrival, enjoy lunch in Alchi Kitchen and savour authentic Ladakhi dishes like Timsthuk, Chutagi and Momos. Afterwards, head to Alchi Monastery which is situated on flat land, unlike other monasteries in the region.
On the way back to Leh, see the awe-inspiring confluence point of the Indus and Zanskar rivers, where emerald green meets muddy brown in a surreal contrast. Also stop by the Magnetic Hill, where vehicles left in neutral gear appear to roll uphill, defying gravity.

After breakfast, set off for Pangong, a region offering rare access to Ladakh's nomadic culture, starry skies and raw Himalayan wilderness.
Check in to your hotel upon arrival, enjoy lunch and views of Pangong Tso, a high-altitude lake at 13,800 feet where light transforms the water from sapphire to turquiose. Take your time to appreciate the unforgettable contrast to urban life.
In the evening, watch the night sky come alive with millions of stars glittering above the vast lake. With zero light pollution and crisp mountain air, it is one of the best places on earth to witness constellations, shooting stars and the Milky Way.

Breakfast in hotel and drive back towards the capital. Along the way, see the Hemis Monastery, Ladakh's largest and wealthiest monastery, and famed for its annual masked dance festival Hemis Tsechu.
Enroute make a lunch stop before continuing back to Leh. Remaining day free at leisure.

Check out after breakfast and transfer to Leh airport for your flight back to Delhi, then for your onward flight home.

- Enjoy some free time for shopping at the local markets if time permits.

A: No, our land-tour package rates do not include flights, to also allow our customers to customise their trip based on choice of airline, travel dates and flight routing, etc. For this itinerary, it is possible to start and end the tour either in New Delhi or Ahmedabad, both of which offer direct flights to/from Singapore.
